The Board of Directors of QL Resources Berhad wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek shareholders' approval at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting on the following proposals:

(a) Proposed renewal of shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature; and
(b) Proposed amendments to the Articles of Association of the Company to bring them in line with the amendments to the Listing Requirements, the Securities Industry (Central Depositories) Act 1991 and the Rules of the Bursa Malaysia Depository Sdn. Bhd. and to be consistent with current business and commercial practises.

A circular setting out the details of the abovesaid proposals will be issued in due course.
