Memorandum Of Understanding Between QL Resources Berhad And Sojitz Corporation

1. INTRODUCTION

QL Resources Berhad ("QL") has on 13 April 2007 announced that QL entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Sojitz Corporation of Japan to signify thier mutual intent to enter into a joint venture arrangement upon the terms to be agreed by the parties.


2. UPDATE

Since the announcement on 13 April 2007, there has not been any material development on the MOU. Both parties are still working on the areas of collaboration as envisaged under the MOU.


3. FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENT

The Company shall make further announcements on new developments in relation to the MOU.
