1. INTRODUCTION

QL Resources Berhad ("QL") have on 13 April 2007 announced that QL entered into a MOU with Sojitz Corporation of Japan to signify thier mutual intent to enter into a joint venture arrangement upon the terms to be agreed by the parties and subsequently announced on 24 July 2007 that there has been no material development on the MOU.

2. UPDATE
The parties mutually agreed to entend the duration of the MOU for three (3) months to 13 December 2007 to enable them to work on areas of collaboration.
