The Board of Directors wish to clarify that The Edge article dated 24.8.09 Page 12, paragraph 1, on "QL eyeing poultry farms in Indonesia and Vietnam as well as plantation land and palm oil mills in Indonesia".

Answering to The Edge's question on our regional expansion plan, we have told The Edge that our regional expansion plan would only involved projects that relates to our current core activities including poultry farms. However, there are no specific projects as yet.

As for the paragraph on expected earnings growth of 5% to 15%, these are earning consensus from analyst.
