1) Subdivision of every existing one (1) ordinary share of RM0.50 each in QL Resources Berhad ("QL" or the "Company") into two (2) ordinary shares of RM0.25 each in QL ("QL Share(s)") ("Share Split").
2) Issuance of 41,600,000 free warrants ("Warrant(s)") in QL Resources Berhad ("QL" or the "Company") on the basis of one (1) Warrant for every twenty (20) existing QL shares held after the share split.
Kindly be advised of the following :
1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted [ "Ex - All" ]
as from : [ 8 February 2011 ]
2) The last date of lodgement : [ 10 February 2011 ]
Remarks :- "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place on 11 February 2011 with share split QL shares of RM0.25 each. Any shareholder who is entitled to receive QL share split shares, may sell any or all of his QL shares arising from the share split beginning the ex-date (8 February 2011).
For example, if Mr X purchases 100 QL shares on cum basis on 7 February 2011, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 10 February 2011. As a result of the share split, 200 QL shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 10 February 2011 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the share split shares of 200 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 8 February 2011 onwards.
