QL Resources Berhad (“QLRB” or “the Company”) hereby announces that Kembang Subur (Perak) Sdn. Bhd. [Registration No. 201001017517 (901222-A)] (“KSPR”), a sub-subsidiary of QLRB has on 18 August 2025 commenced Member’s Voluntary Winding Up in accordance with the Section 439 of the Companies Act 2016 (“Winding Up”).  In relation thereto, Mr. Tee Jun Chian of 61, Jalan SS 21/3, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor had been appointed as the liquidator of KSPR on 18 August 2025 (the “Liquidator”).

KSPR is a private limited company incorporated in Malaysia on 17 May 2010. The principal activities of KSPR were breeding, genetic selection and hatchery operation for the production of shrimps. On 1 January 2019, KSPR ceased its operations and remained dormant since then.

KSPR is not a major subsidiary of QLRB and the net book value of the total assets as at 31 March 2025 was approximately RM604,000.

The Winding Up and the appointment of the Liquidator are not expected to have any financial and operational impact on QLRB and its Group for the financial year ending 31 March 2026. Further, there are no expected losses arising from the said Winding Up.
