Following the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) period from 18 March 2020 to 12 May 2020 and Conditional Movement Control Order (“CMCO”) from 13 May 2020 to 9 June 2020 as announced by the Government to contain the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had via its letters dated:-

i)               16 April 2020 granted an extension of time until 30 June 2020 for listed corporations to issue their unaudited quarterly report on consolidate results for the financial period ended 31 March 2020 (“Quarterly Reports”) which is due by 31 May 2020; and

ii)             6 May 2020 granted an extension of time to listed corporations with financial year ended 31 March 2020 to issue their annual reports that include annual audited financial statements and the auditors’ and directors’ reports (“Annual Report”) and Statement to Shareholders (“Statement”), which are due by 31 July 2020.

In consideration of the challenges faced by QLRB and its subsidiaries during the current situation, the Board of Directors of QLRB wishes to inform that QLRB will utilise the extension of time granted by Bursa Securities for issuance of its Quarterly Reports by 30 June 2020, and its Annual Report and Statement by 31 August 2020, both as granted by Bursa Securities on the basis that the extended MCO and CMCO is uplifted within the time frame as announced.
