25. Earnings per ordinary share
Basic earnings per ordinary share
The calculation of basic earnings per ordinary share is based on the profit attributable to the owners of the Company
of RM192,079,000 (2015: RM191,400,000) and the weighted average number of ordinary shares in issue during the
year.

The Directors recommend a final single tier dividend of 4.25 sen per ordinary share of RM0.25 each in respect of the
financial year ended 31 March 2016 subject to the approval of the shareholders at the forthcoming general meeting.
Based on the issued and paid-up capital of the Company at the end of the reporting period, the final dividend would
amount to approximately RM53,041,000.
