The Board, through the Nominating Committee, reviews the training needs of the Directors annually. Each Director is
required to attend at least one training per year. Directors are encouraged to attend relevant training courses/seminars at
periodic intervals to keep them abreast with developments pertaining to the oversight function of Directors as well as updates
on technical matters, for example financial reporting standards, tax budgets, etc.
The Secretariat facilitates the coordination of the training programmes and Directors’ attendance of external seminars and
programmes, and compiles records of the training received by the Directors.
